According to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, a fuel truck, traveling eastbound on I-20, was involved in a fiery crash early Saturday.

According to a press release from the GBI, law enforcement received a call regarding a domestic dispute around 9:30 p.m.

Christopher Hatfield, 58, of Sarepta, LA, was killed about 11:30 a.m. Sunday, June 15, 2025 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
