Israel launched strikes against the Houthi rebels in Yemen as a warning against the Iran-backed group. CBS News' Elizabeth Palmer reports.

Israeli navy ships have struck targets in the port city of Hudaydah in Houthi-controlled Yemen. The Israeli military said in a statement the strikes were carried out in response to Houthi missiles targeting Israel and were aimed at stopping the use of the port for "military purposes".

The Israeli military said it fired warning shots at people it referred to as suspects who it said had advanced toward its troops hundreds of yards from the aid site prior to its opening hours.

At least two Palestinians were killed Tuesday as Israel launched a large-scale military operation in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, the Palestinian health ministry and the Israeli army said.The military said troops opened fire and "eliminated" two Palestinians who had attempted to steal a soldier's weapon as the "counterterrorism operation" was underway in the old city of Nablus.

Along with Hamas military chief Mohammed Sinwar's body, leader Mohammad Shabana and other militants were found dead in an underground tunnel beneath a Gaza hospital.

The Israeli military recovered the body of de facto Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar in a tunnel underneath the European Hospital in southern Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Sunday.
