A spokesperson for the music icon says he is shuttering 20th Century Cycles in Oyster Bay in late September because of his brain disorder diagnosis.

Spokesperson Claire Mercuri announced the news of Billy’s plans to close his much-loved store on Wednesday (August 13), revealing the singer made the decision to close his shop as a result of his recent brain disorder diagnosis (via The Independent ).

Century Cycles in Oyster Bay will close in late September and Joel will auction off his collection of bikes later this year.
