Lewis Hamilton suggested Ferrari should sack him for being “absolutely useless” after a dismal qualifying session at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton revealed he has switched one of his performance engineers in his team and said they were both adapting to the mid-season alteration. While not stating who it was, Hamilton said the engineer was from his “previous team”, suggesting the new hire came from Mercedes.

Charles Leclerc has spoken about the different qualities he has picked up from Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, compared to what he learned from Sebastian Vettel and Carlos Sainz. Leclerc met Hamilton in Maranello after Ferrari managed to lure the seven-time world champion away from Mercedes.
