Shrek and Fiona were off to their new home on Monday, leaving the Pasadena Humane animal shelter with their very excited new owner. It's the first day the shelter has been able to reopen for normal operations following the Eaton Fire.

The Pasadena Humane Society is welcoming back potential owners wishing to give dogs, cats, and critters forever homes. The Eaton Fire left many animals displaced. The shelter is open 10a-5p all week for adoptions.

The Pasadena Humane Society will be resuming their pet adoptions for the first time since the Eaton Fire.  The agency has about 60 dogs and cats that were displaced due to the wildfire in the Altadena and Pasadena areas.
