Thomas Partey finally made his debut appearance for Villarreal in a preseason match against Premier League side Aston Villa during the Trofeo de la Cerámica.

Villarreal have completed the signing of former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey. Partey, 32, has signed a two year deal at the La Liga club, comprising of an initial one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months, with Villarreal confirming the transfer on Thursday.

Spanish soccer club Villarreal announced the signing of Thomas Partey on Thursday, weeks after the midfielder was charged in England with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
