MAHA teams can post their tryouts on the MAHA website. The team contact simply fills out the registration form and the tryouts are posted throughout the time frame established by the team.

The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) is administered in geographical districts. MAHA District 8 includes most of the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) of Michigan, excluding only the two easternmost U.P. counties of Mackinac and Chippewa, which are in District 7.

MAHA probably offers one the most the most diverse programs in the country, with teams and programs at almost every level there is. MAHA affiliates also present opportunities for junior hockey, disabled hockey, adult men and women leagues. Youth Hockey helps develop smart, active, great kids.
