At 9:27 a.m., Saturday, June 21st, South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched alongside Parker Police Department and Douglas County Animal Control to the Parker Water Treatment Facility at 16850 Parkerhouse Road for an animal rescue. Crews arrived to find a dog trapped in a drainage pipe, with only its head visible above ground. The dog appeared scared but alert.
