Pulling the lower unit to change the impeller. This one wanted to fight a little, 12 years 1925 HRS and had never been off before. Took some persuading from the dead blow and tree falling wedge, but got it off with no damage. Cleaned the driveshaft splines, installed the new water pump kit and greased the mounting bolts, driveshaft, shiftshaft, and water tube. Then installed the lower unit. It is back in action s and pumping water like a champ. #boat #hewescraft #mechanic #boatlife #boatrepair #
