A message from Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue — Monday, December 8 through Friday, December 12, ocean rescue lifeguards will be opening the towers at 9:30 am instead of our usual 9:00 am. This is due to required training for our lifeguards that week. Please plan your beach day accordingly, we will be closing the towers at our normal time of 5:20 pm everyday of the late opening. The government says it will consider whether to scrap air passenger duty on domestic flights as part of the deal.
