Armed Forces of Malta has welcomed Intake 261, with 88 new recruits including seven women reporting for duty at Luqa Barracks and taking the Oath of Allegiance on their first day. The intake also includes 12 Officer Cadets, three of whom are female. Training will run for four to five months and will guide recruits through the transition from civilian to military life, combining academic instruction with practical military training.
