Once on scene, PFD conducted a 360 inspection of the building locating light smoke coming from the rooftop. 10:15AM Porterville Police received reports of a man with a gun in the area of Morton and York. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located the subject at Morton and Newcomb. Officers detained the subject and located a handgun on his person. The subject was transported and booked at South Valley Detention Center. No injuries reported. | Porterville Stringer
